Response path
- Check the active alarm code, priority, equipment, state and start time.
- Compare the underlying signal and nearby events in Historian.
- Consult the site alarm response or operating procedure.
- Record actions and open work or incident follow-up where appropriate.
- Acknowledge only if your role and local procedure authorize it.
Handover
Write what was observed, what was done, what remains uncertain and who owns the next action. Avoid interpreting acknowledgement as fault clearance.
