Check in order
- Confirm the intended site and tag.
- Read the quality flag and source/received timestamps.
- Check gateway status, MQTT/consumer health and current snapshot.
- Compare with a second known-good tag on the same gateway.
- Record the gap and escalate to the integration owner.
Check before proceeding
- Do not treat a blank or stale value as zero.
- Do not restart or reconfigure a live gateway without site approval.
